Carpe Diem

The theme of the fourth mobility was Carpe Diem. It was an online meeting. More than 2 students and 2 teachers from every school joined it, in particular the students who took part in the theatre workshops at their schools.

The mobility lasted two days and was focused on two grammar topics: Present Tenses and Can - Can’t for abilities.

Two Methodologies were adopted: the Total Physical Response Approach and the Communicative Approach. While teaching English with games,  the Total Physical

Response Approach was used, whereas while designing animations, the Communicative Approach.

The timetable of the mobility:

Day 1 Introduction, Animation Workshop by Süleyman Yapıcı Duty, Brainstorming about Carpe Diem using MentiMeter, Video about Carpe Diem, Present Tenses and games about them, Animations  about Present Tenses and Carpe Diem designed by the students,  Visiting Museum Online.  

Day 2 Turkish Education System by M. Turgay Kayıran, Common Poster using Canva, Common Story using Story Jumper, Watching Animations prepared by the students, Evaluation, Certificate Ceremony.
