It is a dispute resolution PROCESS that allows us to resolve a conflict and find a solution.

What is the purpose of mediation?

  1. Creating a neutral environment to discuss and hearing out both parties.

  2. Improving the relationship between the parties involved

  3. Finding a compromise - without it there is no mediation - both parties are on the same level

Who is a mediator?

A person who works quietly. S/He has to be impartial, neutral, objective, trustworthy, free from prejudice. S/He has a positive attitude towards people and shows ability to listen.

The workshop ended with some reflections about the topics discussed.
